Rupa Ragbirsingh, business manager, is responsible for financial reporting, monthly reconciliations, year-end closings and management of day-to-day operations. She manages various travel funding and non-sponsored grants requests. Rupa ensures that effective financial standards are in place and that the academic departments are in adherence with the policies set by the Office of the Dean of the Faculty and the Office of Finance and Treasury. 

Before joining the Office of the Dean of the Faculty, Rupa served in the Department of Molecular Biology since 2019. Prior to that, she served at the Laboratory of Animal Resources in the Office of the Dean for Research since 2016. During that time, Rupa managed the accounting and financial reporting of the department and endowment funds, assisted with cost analysis and rate-setting processes of all core facilities, and was responsible for preparing and managing administrative budgets for the departments.

Rupa holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with concentrations in finance and business administration. She is currently working toward earning an online MBA from Boston University. When off campus, Rupa loves to travel and read.
