Bio/Description

As the assistant dean for postdoctoral affairs, Tithi Basu Mallik collaborates with academic department administrators and Office of the Dean of the Faculty team members on matters related to postdoctoral appointments. She also develops and leads programming for Princeton’s postdoctoral scholars. Previously, she served as associate director of doctoral student career and professional development in Career Services at the University of Pennsylvania. Tithi has extensive experience partnering with faculty and staff to support the needs of postdocs, offering postdoctoral career and professional development across disciplines, conducting one-on-one advising and developing programming to enhance career preparation. She previously served as assistant director for graduate/professional students and postdoctoral career support at the University of Kentucky. Tithi received her doctorate in philosophy from the University of Connecticut. She holds a Master of Philosophy in cognitive science and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India.
